As chairs of the North Texas chapter of ASIS&T, it is our pleasure to welcome you to our group! We look forward to serving in this position and collaborating with the rest of the NTASIS&T leadership team.

We are adapting to COVID-19 restrictions in order to continue facilitating connections between NTASIS&T members, the global scientific community, and North Texas information professionals in the safest way possible. While we assess the ongoing developments, the call for proposals remains open for the Multi-Disciplinary Information Research Symposium (MIRS 2020).

Chapter members will continue to enjoy all of the perks of belonging to our parent organization: access to ASIS&T publications, free webinars, discounts on official ASIS&T events, and the ASIS&T Career Center. ASIS&T membership also allows members to join special interest groups, linking you to academics and information professionals worldwide.

For more information on how to get involved, please join us for our first meeting of the Fall 2020 semester on September 1st at 1pm Central Time. We hope that your career at the University of North Texas is off to a great start, and that ASIS&T can be a part of your academic support system here.
