About Our Chapter

Our goal for the University of North Texas  student chapter of ASIS&T is to provide opportunities to build one’s knowledge in the ever-expanding field of Information Science while connecting with faculty and industry professionals. Hosting regional and international conferences on our campuses in Denton, TX, has allowed for students to showcase their current research, while becoming familiar with the peer-review process and receiving constructive feedback from seasoned faculty members. While our affiliation is with the College of Information at the University of North Texas, we welcome all who are interested in Information Science at UNT and beyond.
