About the chapter
The chapter aims to promote the exchange of ideas and good practices among professionals, researchers and educators in the field of information science and technology and associated fields. We feel that one of the duties of the chapter is to facilitate networking ideas and community building across the national borders within Europe, and within the ASIS&T membership worldwide.
Our chapter was established in 1993, turning the earlier North European Chapter into a pan-European chapter.
