The South Asia Chapter was awarded funds by ASIS&T to pursue Special Project in FY22. The Chapter will set up a YouTube channel to host multilingual videos for disseminating awareness on a variety of topics on Covid-19 in the South Asia region. They will collaborate with the Asia Pacific and European Chapter to bring their experience in dealing with similar viruses in the past. We expect that the content for these videos will help in fighting misinformation and disinformation regarding Covid-19 information by citing accurate and reliable sources of information. These videos will be promoted through various social media platforms and the results of the project will be shared through webinars and a poster presentation in ASIS&T AM 2022.
