Professor Yuelin Li earned her Ph.D. degree from the School of Communication and Information at Rutgers University in the USA, and Master and Bachelor degree from Nankai University in China. She is currently a Full-professor in the Department of Information Resources Management in Business School at Nankai University. She is also the provost of the University and chairing the Department. Her research interests include information behavior, interactive information retrieval, digital library, and information system evaluation. Her research has been published in JASIS&T, IP&M, JDoc, JIS, and different Chinese academic journals. She has been invited to give talks related to her research and education of LIS in many universities. In 2022, she chaired the Asia-pacific Chapter of ASIS&T. She has worked for different committees of ASIS&T in recent years. She is also the Director for the Special Interest Group (SIG) in Information Behavior of the Chinese Society for Scientific and Technical Information since 2021 when the SIG established in Nankai University in China. She was the Associate Editor of Information Processing and Management from 2019 to 2021. Also, she won more than 10 research and teaching excellence awards in China in these years.
