ASIS&T is pleased to announce that SIG-III has been awarded funds to pursue a Special Projects in FY24.

Winter School for Enhancing Research Skills

The Winter School for Enhancing Research Skills is a SIG-III initiative funded by the ASIS&T Special Project Fund. This series of workshops is designed to teach information science professionals, with a special emphasis in developing nations, research skills through a range of tools and techniques for understanding social behavior, analyzing large datasets, improving the design and user experience of information systems, and methods with ethical considerations.
Total Award: Project expenses up to 40% of total expenses, not to exceed $4,000. SIG-III will provide 60% of funding.
